Since 1989, Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity, along with hundreds of sponsors and volunteers, has built more than 90 affordable homes for purchase by hard-working, low-income families. Qualified Habitat homebuyers agree to repay a zero-interest mortgage and contribute 350 hours of "sweat equity" helping to build their home and the homes of other future Habitat homeowners. Partner families are also attend classes on money management, home maintenance, and other topics to prepare them for the responsibilities of homeownership.
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
